Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a Maintenance Manager to plan, direct, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures on site, partnering with Operations to advance Operator Driven Reliability and Autonomous Maintenance across the plant.

You will lead a team of mechanics and operators, oversee preventive maintenance, equipment rebuilds, and design control system improvements to boost productivity and cut downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler, and other systems.
• Maintenance management in a manufacturing environment.
• GMP
• PL/PLC programs and programming
• Management and supervisory concepts and techniques
• Read diagrams and blueprints
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with employees verbally and in writing
• Read and process written information with a high degree of accuracy

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs day-to-day maintenance activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment with production priorities.
• Monitors maintenance of production machinery, equipment, and spare parts inventory to meet standards and schedule.
• Directs preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds for safe, efficient operations.
• Designs or directs control system improvements to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Supervises maintenance staff including work allocation and training.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
