Job summary

Golden State Foods seeks a Maintenance Manager to plan, direct, and monitor maintenance policies and procedures ensuring efficiency, quality, and productivity across the plant. You will lead maintenance teams, manage work orders, and supervise preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds to sustain safe operations.

The role requires extensive experience in maintenance management within manufacturing, strong leadership, and a commitment to GMP and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant maintenance experience with progressive supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of GMP, PL/PLC programs, electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs day-to-day maintenance staff activities to optimize resources and schedules.
• Monitors maintenance of production machinery and spare parts inventory to meet production requirements.
• Directs preventive maintenance and equipment rebuilds for safe, efficient operations.
• Designs or directs control system improvements to boost productivity and reduce downtime.
• Supervises maintenance staff, including work allocation, training, performance reviews, and motivation.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
