Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all facets of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, elevators) in Novi/West Bloomfield area and surrounding Farmington Hills. This full-time exempt role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in multifamily or hospitality facilities maintenance, with advanced trades experience and a valid U.S. driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in facilities maintenance in multifamily or hospitality.
• Advanced experience in two or more trades (electrical, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, painting).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Set scope, specs, budget, schedule, material and equipment requirements, subcontractor/vendor bidding and management for maintenance projects.
• Implement preventative actions to ensure safety and operations procedures are met.
• Lead and develop maintenance team: scheduling, duties and performance.
• Direct work orders and unit turns with excellent customer service to residents.
• Complete unit inspections and maintain documentation.
