Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for a community, overseeing interior and exterior upkeep and supervising the maintenance staff. The role focuses on safety, repairs, and resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidate will have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills, plus 2–5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing. On-site schedule with potential on-call duties and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• EPA 608 Type I and Type II certifications and CPO certification required.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work days, evenings, weekends.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all maintenance associates and conduct regular performance appraisals.
• Ensure community grounds and buildings are in good repair and safe for residents.
• Inspect the community and grounds regularly for repairs.
• Maintain grounds and coordinate lawn service from approved vendors.
• Respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash.
• Maintain safety and OSHA compliance.
• Attend required meetings and training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
