Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance services for our apartment communities and supervise the maintenance team. The role focuses on interior and exterior repairs, grounds keeping, safety, and resident satisfaction across our properties.

You will recruit, train, and evaluate staff, coordinate with the Community Manager, manage preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering high-quality service to residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of maintenance experience in multi-family housing.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA 608 Type I & II certifications and CPO certification required.
• Ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Proficient with Ops Technology and email.
• Available to work days, evenings, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and supervise all maintenance associates and conduct regular performance appraisals.
• Ensure community and grounds are in good repair and safe for residents.
• Inspect community and grounds regularly and identify repairs needed.
• Maintain grounds and coordinate lawn/grounds services with vendors.
• Set up and maintain the Community Compliance Manual.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Prepare apartments for new residents.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and safe storage of maintenance items.
• Maintain availability to residents, management, staff on a regular basis.
• Attend required meetings and training programs.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Additional duties as assigned.
