Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for our communities in Alabama. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and resident satisfaction while guiding technicians and care staff through hands-on and classroom training.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, coordinating preventative programs, and overseeing capital projects. Strong HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and repair skills are essential, along with a commitment to Bozzuto’s values and on-call

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in facilities and/or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced level of skill in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and be a role model for Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Hire, develop and provide on-the-job and classroom education opportunities to techs and associates.
• Address resident concerns with timely follow up and complete service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Oversee make-ready and turnover process to enable lease-ups and new moves-in.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs to preserve building value.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and grounds maintenance; ensure 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Lead cost-effective capital improvements and projects within budget.
