Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Maintenance Manager to coordinate with the Community Manager and lead a maintenance team in maintaining the exterior and interior of property to RPM standards, while staying within approved budgets. The role focuses on resident satisfaction, timely repairs, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing budgets, processing POs, prioritizing work orders, and ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two years of multifamily maintenance experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience will be considered.
• A minimum of one year of supervisory experience – Preferred
• EPA certification required
• CPO – Preferred
• Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and ensure the proper maintenance of the property and grounds.
• Maintain the property's operating budget and secure competitive bids for supplies and services.
• Process purchase orders (POs) and invoices to keep costs under control.
• Review and prioritize work orders to ensure timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Oversee the maintenance, safety of the community and compliance with codes; report injuries.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Liaise with property manager, respond to emergencies, and maintain records with cost-saving focus.
• Implement preventative maintenance plans and ensure OSHA safety compliance.

Education
