Job summary

Americold in North Little Rock, AR is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations in a refrigerated warehouse. You will supervise maintenance staff, schedule work, and ensure machines, tools, and safety systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to keep facility operations safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance programs, OSHA compliance, budgeting support, and long-term capital improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse maintenance management experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of all eight RETA courses required.
• HAZMAT certification required.
• Successful completion of the Americold Certified Maintenance Manager program within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities including installation, repair, and upkeep of machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems for the refrigerated warehouse.
• Plan and assign work schedules for maintenance associates, ensuring operational productivity and completion of maintenance requirements.
• Develop, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing reports, inspecting equipment, and ensuring conformance with operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and all municipal and state codes related to mechanical, electrical, and safety requirements.
• Resolve maintenance problems and assess future repair needs, coordinating necessary repairs to maintain equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with management to prepare annual maintenance budgets, develop capital expense plans, and support long-term facility and equipment improvements.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for employees and visitors by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
