As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a team responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and facilities. This position requires a blend of strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a deep commitment to operational excellence. You will guide your team in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, including welding equipment, while aligning with our core values to drive performance and ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Your understanding of Epicor and previous experience in metal manufacturing will play a key role in optimizing operations, reducing downtime, and maintaining an environment of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and manage the maintenance team with a focus on fostering a collaborative, supportive environment. Develop your team's skills through training and mentoring, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed and grow within the company.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Oversee the preventative maintenance program for all equipment, including welding machinery, to ensure continuous, efficient operation. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues quickly, minimizing downtime and maintaining production schedules. Your technical expertise in welding equipment and metal manufacturing will be critical in ensuring high-quality performance. In doing so, you will Sustain Our Future by reducing costly repairs and extending the lifespan of critical equipment.
  • Process Improvement & Innovation: Continuously evaluate and improve maintenance processes, integrating new technologies and techniques to optimize performance. Work with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.   • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety training and audits to uphold our standards for safety and minimize risks.   • Inventory & Resource Management: Oversee the management of parts, tools, and materials needed for maintenance, using Epicor or other systems to track inventory levels and ordering needs. Ensure that all resources are available to perform maintenance tasks on time, contributing to a streamlined workflow and reduced downtime. By Sustaining Our Future, you will manage resources efficiently to ensure that the company’s operational needs are met without unnecessary expense.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor the performance of maintenance activities and report regularly on key metrics like equipment downtime, repair costs, and efficiency improvements. Utilize data to make informed decisions and improve maintenance strategies. This aligns with our Vision of transforming the grating industry by improving operational reliability and excellence in every task.
  • Customer-Focused Service: Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and ensure that maintenance operations align with production schedules and customer requirements.   • Cost Control & Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high operational standards. Qualifications

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading and developing a team, with a strong emphasis on communication, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong background in maintenance management, specifically in metal manufacturing environments and with welding equipment. Knowledge of Epicor is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement creative solutions that improve equipment reliability and reduce costs.
  • Safety & Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of safety regulations, and a proactive approach to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ability to implement and manage systems that ensure timely, efficient maintenance processes, including parts management, scheduling, and budget control.
