Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee technical work across a Wilmington, NC community. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure the grounds and buildings meet Greystar quality standards.

The role includes completing make-ready tasks, coordinating vendors, and participating in safety programs while delivering strong customer service to residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related maintenance experience acceptable.
• EPA certifications Type I/II or Universal required if working on HVAC systems.
• Valid driver's license may be required for property duties.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across the community while following safety and code requirements.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and scheduling contractors.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools, and assist with budgeting for repairs.
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and participate in safety meetings.
• Provide responsive customer service to residents and staff.
