Job summary

Greystar is seeking aMaintenance Technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work ensuring community buildings, grounds, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

You will handle service requests, perform routine upkeep, prepare units for leasing, and manage vendor coordination while maintaining inventory and adhering to safety requirements. Strong customer service and problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for internal and external contacts.
• Mathematical skills for handling financial, administrative, and legal documents.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and diagnose issues to perform repairs per policy.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate vendors.
• Set maintenance standards for grounds, exteriors, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, order as needed within budget.
