Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance technician to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks for leasing-ready units.

You will work Monday–Friday with rotating on-call shifts, handling work orders, coordinating vendors, and maintaining parts inventory. A strong focus on safety and resident service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Own hand tools unless prohibited by state law; safe use of tools and equipment.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to problems; good customer service and communication.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate to represent management and interact with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance per safety standards.
• Oversee and complete make-ready process for vacant homes for leasing; inspect and schedule repairs.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors; develop corrective action as needed.
• Maintain inventory of parts and tools; coordinate with manager on supplies within budget.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance as outlined in policy manuals.
• Assist in budget development for repairs and capital projects.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Conduct safety meetings; ensure MSDS and OSHA compliance.
• Demonstrate customer service by addressing residents' questions and concerns promptly.
