Job summary

Novo Health Services in Miami is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our production equipment, utilities, and facility systems.

This leadership role partners with the Chief Engineer to maximize uptime, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and develop the maintenance team through hands-on coaching and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering; equivalent experience considered.
5–10 years of progressive maintenance or reliability experience in industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and preventive maintenance systems.
Experience leading maintenance personnel and cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and environmental compliance.
Proficiency in CMMS and reading technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance, repair, and operation of production equipment and facility systems.
Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues.
Supervise maintenance technicians and contractors; mentor team.
Ensure OSHA and safety compliance; maintain records and SOPs.
Support capital projects and maintenance budgets; drive continuous improvement.
