Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) certification required.

• Experience managing preventative maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of industrial equipment, facility systems, and manufacturing operations.
• Experience with maintenance metrics, reporting systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, training, performance management, and daily work direction.
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs to support production goals and maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain facility systems, utilities, and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing downtime, improving equipment performance, and increasing operational efficiency.
• Track and analyze maintenance metrics including MTBF, MTTR, and other key indicators.
• Coordinate outside vendors, contractors, equipment service providers, and facility projects.
• Manage department budgets, inventory, spare parts, and maintenance-related expenditures.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize maintenance management systems and reporting tools to monitor performance and support business objectives.

A well-established and growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and facility operations within a fast-paced production environment. This organization serves highly regulated industries including aerospace, defense, medical, automotive, and industrial manufacturing, where equipment reliability, quality, and operational efficiency are critical to success.

This role is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, leading a team of technicians, driving preventative maintenance initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maximizing equipment uptime across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team through coaching, training, performance management, and daily work direction.
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs to support production goals and maximize equipment reliability.
• Maintain facility systems, utilities, and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work throughout a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting materials as needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in a production environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, machinery, and exposure to manufacturing-related materials.
