Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager in Cambridge, MA to lead maintenance operations for residential properties. You will guide the team, handle resident service tickets, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances.

The role requires 5+ years in trades/building maintenance, HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification, and a readiness for on-call rotation. On-site duties include turnover, safety compliance, and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities or residential building maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification required.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Ability to work weekends and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Follow up with residents and complete apartment service tickets in a timely manner.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Manage the make-ready and turnover process so apartments can be leased.
• Preserve building value via preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain cleanliness, grounds, snow removal and general upkeep for safety.
• Ensure safe operations by adhering to codes/standards and minimizing accidents.
• Participate in weekend work and on-call rotation as required.
