Job summary

Bozzuto seeks a skilled Roving Assistant Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance efforts across communities. You will address HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues while ensuring timely make-ready turnover and high-quality service.

The role requires 5+ years in the trades, leadership aptitude, and an on-call mindset. You will uphold safety standards and collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in trades, facilities, or residential maintenance.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NATE certification is required.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Available for emergency on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete tickets promptly.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Manage make-ready and turnover to enable leasing.
• Perform preventative maintenance to preserve building value.
• Ensure safety and code compliance on site.
• Participate in weekend work and on-call rotation.
