Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America near Reno, Nevada, is hiring a Technician I to support maintenance in our high-volume battery factory. The role focuses on executing repair and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, and documenting modifications and procedures.

You will lead on-shift maintenance activities, coordinate with planners and production supervisors, and contribute to uptime, through-put and quality improvements while adhering to safety and PPE rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read blueprints and use MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, direct, and hold accountable the maintenance teams on shift to perform planned and emergency maintenance.
• Evaluate hourly personnel training needs and develop employees to improve maintenance skills.
• Lead troubleshooting activities and ensure on-time completion of maintenance tasks.
