Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are well maintained, safe and functional.

The role supervises engineering staff, coordinates preventive maintenance, and interfaces with guests, associates and contractors to keep the property in top condition. Experience in hotel environments and strong customer service are preferred; non-exempt status applies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years practical experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing or Electrical.
• Trade school or college coursework in a related field preferred.
• Any license the property may require.
• Previous customer service & hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Supervise engineering staff and manage maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and proper repair records.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs and upgrades.
• Manage inventory and PM schedules to ensure safety and efficiency.
