Job summary

Meyer Jabara Hotels, LLC is seeking an Engineers Maintenance position to perform skilled maintenance across the property, including HVAC, electrical, painting and general repairs to keep guest rooms and facilities in top condition. You will engage guests, associates and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

The ideal candidate has trade school or related coursework and 1–2 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing or electrical work, plus any required licenses.

Qualifications

• Trade school or college coursework in a related field is preferred.
• Previous customer service and hotel experience is preferred.
• 1–2 years of practical experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Electrical, etc.
• Any license required by the property must be held.

Responsibilities

• Approach guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.
• Repair air conditioning units and related components.
• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and PM programs.
• Work with and direct contractors.
• Maintain repair records and logs.
