The role oversees daily tasks, scheduling, and vendor services while maintaining records and improving maintenance processes. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must lead a maintenance team with coordination across shifts.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and tracking maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety performance and enforce company policy.
• Monitor attendance and vacations via Kronos; maintain time entries in ADP.
• Develop, coordinate and assign daily maintenance tasks.
• Maintain equipment records and repair information.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the maintenance department.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on daily activities.
• Foster employee relations and teamwork in the maintenance team.
• Schedule repairs and preventive/predictive maintenance; manage vendor services.
• Lead training programs for Maintenance Technicians and develop standard work.
• Communicate parts procurement and inventory status with parts department.
• Allocate technician time to complete work orders using the CMMS.
• Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programs; attend operations meetings in supervisor's absence.
