Job summary

Trex is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Supervisor who will drive safety performance, schedule and manage daily maintenance work, and coordinate with vendors to ensure reliable equipment operation. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on maintenance expertise, including boiler operation.

You’ll train technicians, develop SOPs, and participate in strategic operations meetings.

Qualifications

• Must be Maintenance Technician III or IV or have 5+ years in a maintenance department.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are required.
• Motivated team player with vendor management and project skills.
• Must be a certified boiler operator.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety performance and ensure adherence to company policy.
• Monitor attendance and vacation using Kronos and ADP time systems.
• Develop, coordinate and assign daily maintenance repair tasks.
• Maintain records and repair information for equipment.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on activities and requirements.
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance and vendor service.
• Lead Maintenance Technicians training syllabus and develop technical competence.
• Assist in developing SOPs and standard work operations.
• Communicate with parts department on procurements and spare inventory.
• Assign Maintenance Technician time to complete work orders in JDE CMMS.
• Attend operations and strategic meetings in the absence of Maintenance Supervisor.
