Job summary

Hireology is seeking a dependable Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensure safety, and keep the facility compliant and functional. You will hire, train, and supervise the maintenance team while coordinating with external contractors to complete work on time.

You'll develop and implement a preventive maintenance program, inspect and maintain HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and generators, and manage supplies and budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance (healthcare or long-term care preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems.
• Ability to develop and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with budgeting and supply ordering.
• HVAC experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance; conduct fire system inspections where applicable.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Order supplies and equipment; manage budgeting within approved guidelines.
• Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors.
• Train staff and plan department staffing according to needs.
• Ensure facility and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards.
