Transtech Fabrication in McGregor, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician Lead to oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate major repairs, and maintain equipment records. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and proactive problem-solving.

Ideal candidates have experience with PM software, OSHA standards, and strong communication with operations teams; they will guide technicians and manage external contractors to keep facilities and equipment running efficiently.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 480V three-phase and 277/120V electrical systems.
• Experience with electrical controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Familiar with PM software and OSHA requirements.
• Proactive, self-starting approach to preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all shop equipment; schedules contractor repairs as needed.
• Leads maintenance projects and coordinates team activities.
• Provides coaching and enforces safety expectations with the team.
• Develops and maintains Preventative Maintenance schedules.
• Oversees annual OSHA inspections and keeps equipment files up to date.
• Implements improvements to equipment and maintenance procedures.
• Performs daily inspections of forklifts, trucks, and cranes; quarterly electrical tool checks.
• Manages third-party contractors for maintenance work.
