Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our facility in Hickory, NC. The role focuses on coordinating daily maintenance, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently for production.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance tasks. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma with apprenticeship, plus at least 5 years of maintenance experience and strong knowledge

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus apprenticeship program; recognized credential.
• Thorough knowledge of machine functions, equipment processes, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical safety practices and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate daily maintenance repair activities.
• Ensure equipment runs efficiently via preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to set priorities and communicate clearly.
