Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Lead for ROUND LAKE IL. You will provide leadership to maintenance personnel on assigned shifts, coordinate pass-downs, and prioritize maintenance activities to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires 4 years of industrial maintenance experience and a high school diploma or GED. You will troubleshoot facilities systems (boilers, chillers, HVAC, air compressors), manage PM/CM, and mentor technicians, collaborating with Engineering and Operations.

Qualifications

• 4 years of maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to maintenance personnel during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate shift pass-downs and maintenance priorities for incoming teams.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, air compressors.
• Manage PM, CM, and emergency maintenance using CMMS systems.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance projects and oversee contractor activities.
• Support system shutdowns and minimize disruptions.
• Provide mentorship and training to maintenance technicians.
• Communicate status and updates to plant leadership.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Vendors, and Contractors.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to maintenance personnel during assigned shifts.

• Coordinate shift pass-downs and organize maintenance priorities for incoming teams.

• Troubleshoot and repair facility systems including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, air compressors, and other critical utilities.

• Manage preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), and emergency maintenance activities using Maximo or similar CMMS systems.

• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.

• Coordinate maintenance projects and oversee contractor activities.

• Support system shutdowns and maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruptions.

• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to maintenance technicians.

• Communicate maintenance status, critical issues, and project updates to plant leadership.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Vendors, and Contractors to ensure efficient facility performance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 4 years of experience in maintenance experience in industrial or manufacturing.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay Details: $31.00 per hour
