Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of facility equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, maintaining a safe workplace, and ensuring all equipment operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, conveyors, and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime.
Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential maintenance concerns and recommend corrective actions.
Install, repair, replace, and adjust equipment components as needed.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and maintenance best practices.
Perform facility maintenance tasks, including lighting, plumbing, and general building repairs.
Work closely with production and warehouse teams to support operational goals.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and equipment repair procedures.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and weekends when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Technical certification, trade school training, or related education in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated equipment.
Welding, fabrication, or machining experience.
Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
