Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred
• Interpersonal and relationship building skills with an ability to collaborate with branch team members
• Competent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations experience required
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred
• Agile and quick learner, enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity and ensure timely service support while mitigating inventory loss
• Order parts with sourcing procedures and coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering
• Receive, store, and track parts; update PartsNet and perform regular inventory cycle counts
• Manage new and used battery inventories and tire stock in correct quantities
• Coordinate warranty items, shipments, and returns with warranty department
• Partner with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available
• Provide vendor support and ensure correct payments processing
• Perform process analyses on inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and RO reviews
• Use ServiceNet or AS400 for operations analysis and problem solving
• Support the branch financial manager with data and insights
• Handle assigned projects from Branch and District Financial Managers
