Job summary

The Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage branch inventory and administrative processes, supporting maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

This role reports to the Birmingham Downtown location and requires coordinating with the Parts, Service, and Warranty teams to ensure timely parts flow and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, degree preferred.
• 2 years+ experience in customer service and operations.
• 2 years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch inventory productivity and ensure timely service support.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts, update PartsNet, and conduct inventory counts.
• Manage battery and tire inventory and ensure availability and specifications.
• Coordinate warranty items and returns with warranty department.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs when parts are available.
• Manage vendor support and ensure accurate payments.
