Job summary

The Penske Maintenance Coordinator role focuses on managing inventory and admin processes across the branch(es) to support maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. Shift is M-F 8am-5pm, with responsibilities spanning parts ordering, cycle counts, warranty coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service and operations, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel as needed for branch support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with branch team.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• 2+ years in customer service and operations.
• 2+ years in service and parts department preferred.
• Able to learn quickly and work on cross-functional projects.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and routine paperwork.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) for timely service support.
• Order parts and coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering daily.
• Receive, store and track parts; perform cycle counts and updates.
• Manage new/used battery inventory and tires in correct quantities.
• Handle warranty items shipments and returns with warranty dept.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to schedule repairs as parts arrive.
• Provide vendor support and ensure correct payments processing.
• Support branch financial manager and assist with profitability.
