Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in East Peoria, IL is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage branch inventory and administrative processes to support maintenance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

The role runs Monday to Friday on the first shift, requires 2+ years in customer service and operations, and advanced MS Office skills. You will oversee parts, batteries, tires, warranty items, and coordinate with the service team to keep repairs on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• 2+ years in customer service and operations experience required.
• 2+ years working in service and parts department preferred.
• Interpersonal and relationship-building skills; collaborative.
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to support timely service while mitigating inventory loss.
• Order parts per sourcing procedures; ensure on-time deliveries and defect-free purchases with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive and store parts; update PartsNet; conduct frequent inventory cycle counts; ensure availability.
• Manage new & used battery inventory and tires; keep quantities and specs organized.
• Ensure warranty items are shipped timely; follow up on returns with warranty department; coordinate with Customer Service to schedule repairs.
• Vendor support and accountability; ensure payments are processed correctly.
• Support the branch financial manager with information to improve profitability.
• Own projects and tasks assigned by Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
