Job summary

Genesis in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to keep our nursing center clean, safe, and well maintained. You will perform routine repairs, operate and change HVAC filters, and assist with supplies and general upkeep to support patient care.

Prerequisites include a high school diploma or equivalent and basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge. This role offers a 20–40 hour work week with a comprehensive benefits package and on-demand pay options.

Responsibilities

20-40 hrs work depending on census!!

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
