Genesis Administrative Services LLC is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for a nursing center in Milford, Delaware. You will maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility and its grounds, performing minor repairs and HVAC filter changes.

Expect varied tasks, including stocking supplies, supporting the maintenance supervisor in their absence, and ensuring a welcoming, well-maintained environment for residents and staff. High school diploma and basic wiring/plumbing/carpentry knowledge required.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, ger i-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers
• Changes filters on HVAC equipment
• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Responsibilities

Maintenance Assistant completes a variety of tasks to maintain the nursing center and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance.

• Make minor repairs to handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers

• Carries, lifts and stocks supplies
• Assume Maintenance supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence

Posted Salary Range

USD $21.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
