Job summary

AMI is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Section Manager to lead the department responsible for maintenance operations, facilities management, equipment uptime, and preventative maintenance. You will drive safety, budget controls, vendor coordination, and technician development to support AMI production goals.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to resolve downtime, implement continuous improvement, and optimize facility-related processes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with minimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance role.
• Or 8+ years' experience in a maintenance or manufacturing support role.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of machine mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, and manufacturing equipment.
• Experience leading maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting preventative maintenance programs, and coordinating manpower resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Maintenance and Facilities Department to ensure uptime and safety.
• Develop and manage department budgets and capital expenditures.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and calibration of equipment.
• Coordinate vendor support and contractor performance.
• Promote safety compliance and staff development.
