Job summary

The Senior Maintenance Engineer at ADM is responsible for improving asset reliability, equipment performance, and maintenance effectiveness across the facility. This role provides technical leadership for maintenance and reliability initiatives, develops preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, supports capital projects, and drives continuous improvement to maximize uptime, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15 years in industrial manufacturing preferred with 10+ years in RM&U activities (reliability, maintenance).
• Strong knowledge of maintenance programs, predictive and preventive strategies.
• Familiarity with RCA methods and FMEA.
• Experience with vibration, infrared, alignment, ultrasonic analyses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the equipment reliability strategy and integrate into Performance Excellence.
• Promote safety compliance with ADM and site policies.
• Foster safety and continuous improvement across maintenance teams.
• Provide technical expertise to improve reliability and system performance.
• Support reliability initiatives via data analysis, equipment assessments, and troubleshooting.
• Lead root cause analyses and develop corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
• Develop and update maintenance procedures, standards, and documentation.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and contractors on best practices.
