Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a hands-on Maintenance and Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance and housekeeping across the facility in Wilmer, TX. The role focuses on equipment repair, preventive maintenance planning, and compliance with FDA/cGMP standards.

You will lead a team, coordinate with contractors, and manage budgets while ensuring continuous operation and safety of all utility and building systems.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing staff.
• At least 7 years of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and wear a full face respirator.
• Experience with safety, FDA/cGMP environments and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments, including repair, maintenance and installation of machines and equipment.
• Plan and schedule preventative maintenance for HVAC, alarms, lighting, electrical systems and other facilities.
• Direct outsource maintenance and manage fleet, subcontract work, and DOT compliance.
• Develop and mentor staff, control costs, monitor KPIs and ensure quality standards.
