Bozzuto is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Washington, DC to lead maintenance operations across multifamily properties. The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and high-quality resident service, with responsibility for supervising techs, managing vendors, and coordinating capital projects.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in facilities maintenance, HVAC/EPA/NAPE certification, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualificações

• VRF experience strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of facilities and/or residential building maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience with hiring and developing teams.
• HVAC, EPA and/or NAPE certification.
• Knowledge of risk management, OSHA and MSDS.
• Advanced HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair skills.
• Basic carpentry, drywall and painting skills.
• Experience with central plant, split systems, boilers and chillers.
• Availability for emergency situations and on-call rotation.
• Ability to lift 25-50 pounds, climb stairs and work in varying weather.

Responsabilidades

• Lead by example and model Bozzuto's values and culture.
• Hire, develop, and provide on-the-job and classroom training to techs and community care associates.
• Address resident needs with timely follow-up and complete service tickets.
• Resolve maintenance issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
• Oversee make-ready and turnover process to lease apartments.
• Preserve building value with preventative maintenance.
• Maintain building safety and cleanliness, snow removal and grounds maintenance.
• Ensure peak efficiency of all property components.
• Adhere to building, county and safety codes; maintain accident-free operation.
• Complete annual building systems inspections.
• Lead capital improvements and special projects within budget.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships and projects within budget.
• Support on-call staffing and 24/7 emergency coverage.
