Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Washington, DC area properties. This on-site role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and rapid response to service requests to protect our residential assets.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of housing maintenance experience, strong customer service, and HVAC/EPA credentials. Weekend/evening availability and on-call coverage are required for this position.

Qualifications

2–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in residential property management.
EPA Certification strongly preferred.
Strong focus on customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

Take the lead role in troubleshooting and adjusting control systems and ensuring daily function of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation and security systems.
Maintain property assets with advanced maintenance skills as directed by Management.
Respond quickly to deficiencies found in preventative maintenance inspections.
Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to complete the Preventative Maintenance Program.
Deliver excellent customer service and respond to maintenance requests within 24 hours.
Ensure follow-up with residents, vendors and property management on all services.
Adhere to building codes, safety standards and housing laws; comply with guidelines.
Work weekends or evenings and be on call for after-hours emergencies.
