Sonesta Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold safety and quality across guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas. You’ll perform repairs, preventative maintenance, painting, plumbing, and general engineering tasks.

This hands‑on role supports HVAC systems, electrical, carpentry, and building upkeep, with a focus on reliability and guest satisfaction. You’ll coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to keep operations smooth and safe.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance and building operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot routine repairs safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, public spaces, and back‑of‑house areas.
• Support preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with painting, minor plumbing, fixture replacements, and routine engineering tasks.
• Maintain maintenance logs, work orders, and documentation.
