Job summary

Lillibridge is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead routine upkeep, repairs, and system improvements for healthcare facilities. The role requires coordinating with supervisors, managing vendors, and ensuring safe, compliant building operations on-site in Carmel, IN.

You will handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life-safety systems, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor junior staff while maintaining strict safety and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Two-year college/technical school completion.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience in healthcare/real estate/hospital environments.
• Located in Carmel, IN area with after-hours availability.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduled maintenance program with Supervisor guidance.
• Oversee building repairs and system performance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety.
• Direct vendors/contractors per contract documents and timelines.
• Respond to emergencies per departmental protocol.
• Maintain inventories/logs of equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Manage on-site facilities team in Chief Engineer’s absence.
