Job summary

Lillibridge, the property management and leasing subsidiary of Ventas, seeks a Maintenance Engineer to lead repairs and scheduled maintenance of building systems across healthcare spaces. The role centers on ensuring optimal operations and tenant satisfaction, reporting to the property management team.

On-site 5 days a week with after-hours availability, you will manage schedules, supervise vendors, and monitor logs while controlling expenses and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be located in Carmel, IN and available for after-hours emergencies.
• Minimum of 5 years of related maintenance experience in healthcare, commercial real estate, or hospital environments.
• Must be onsite (onsite) 5 days a week
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, and perform extensive walking

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisor to implement, and manage a scheduled maintenance program.
• Oversees operation and performance of tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs and assist in maintaining all related logs and records
• Oversees the implementation of physical improvements
• Manages and directs vendors and contractors to complete work in accordance with contract documents and in a timely manner
• Duties will include, but not be limited to, all day-to-day scheduled maintenance, repairs and improvement tasks
• Responds to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol
• Assists Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs
• Assists with controlling repair and maintenance expenses associated with the operation of the buildings
• Monitors contractor service schedules and equipment installations by outside contractors
• Follows through on completed work to verify proper facility conditions are restored
• Coordinate, diagnose and resolve maintenance problems involving HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, Life Safety, Plumbing
• Report pertinent information related to operation of the buildings to the Supervisor
• Participate as an active team member with all administrative and maintenance co-workers
• Adhere to safety standards, policies & procedures and codes of conduct
