Job summary

Hotel Talent Westchester/Yonkers New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs across the hotel, including HVAC and preventive maintenance. The role requires strong English communication, physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs, and flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts.

Ideal candidates have prior hotel maintenance experience and are willing to train for advancement within a TEAM-spirited environment that values growth and a five-star guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in brand or luxury hotel maintenance is preferred.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Willing to train the right hospitality professional.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshoot issues to determine repairs, and conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed and maintain the building exterior; respond to work orders and service calls timely.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, troubleshooting issues to determine necessary repairs, performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs, and assisting with housekeeping duties as needed. You will also be responsible for maintaining the building exterior and responding to work orders and service calls to guest rooms in a timely manner

• Prior maintenance experience in a brand or luxury hotel environment is ideal, but willing to train the right hospitality professional looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall PTAC units and electrical systems
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is also a plus
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Must be able to lift and move objects 50 lbs up to 100 lbs
• Schedule flexibility including weekends, and holidays
• Work independently
• Strong work ethic
