Job summary

Flowserve seeks a skilled maintenance electrician for our Taneytown, MD facility. You will inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and controls to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

You will manage parts, coordinate with operations on maintenance schedules, and document work performed. A strong NEC knowledge, 5–7 years experience, and an electrician license are preferred; competitive pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years relevant experience in maintenance electrician roles.
• Ability to work shifts in heavy manufacturing.
• Familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures, and components to ensure safety and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, circuit breakers, and related components to restore full functionality.
• Test systems with voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters.
• Review blueprints to understand wiring layouts and equipment operation.
• Keep records of maintenance and parts used, and order supplies as needed.
• Support autonomous and preventative maintenance to improve equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Troubleshoot PLCs, CNC machines, and building controls.
• Other duties as assigned.
