Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance on plant electrical systems and control equipment.

You will install, calibrate, and repair power distribution, motor control, and PLC-based control systems, and work with hydraulic knowledge; safety and teamwork are essential in this manufacturing environment in Houston, Texas.

Qualifications

• Journeyman License required.
• Technical training completed.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance or electrical roles.
• Proficient with hand tools and portable electric tools.
• Strong commitment to working in a team environment.
• Ability to follow safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision or in a team to complete work on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical equipment service, setup, adjustment and repairs/modifications on plant equipment and facility.
• Install, maintain, calibrate and repair electrical and electronic equipment including power distribution, motor control, and programmable logic controllers.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment.
• Identify and correct defects during maintenance checks.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems is a plus; ability to work at heights.
• Other duties as assigned.
