Job summary

Quiburi Mission Nursing & Rehabilitation in Benson, AZ seeks an experienced Maintenance Director specialized in life safety inspections and HVAC maintenance. You will supervise the maintenance department, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining a sanitary and safe center.

The role requires coordinating with residents, medical staff, and leadership to manage environmental services and preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced in life safety inspections.
• Experience in HVAC and routine maintenance.
• Supervises maintenance department and manages budgets.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping.
• Must comply with Federal, State and Local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas, controlling budgets and staffing while resolving interdepartmental issues.
• Executes the preventive maintenance program and keeps records to maintain high facility function.
• Develops center profile and physical plant history with complete documentation of maintenance activities and parts used.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with regulations and codes.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff on environmental service requests and infection prevention.
• Reports serious mechanical failures to the Administrator and follows up as needed.
