Job summary

PowerBack Rehabilitation in Gallup, NM seeks a Maintenance Director to ensure safe, well-maintained surroundings for patients and residents. You will oversee electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems and report to the Nursing Home Administrator, coordinating with staff to ensure regulatory compliance.

This on-site role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma, and hands-on technical skills. You will be on-call 24/7 and manage Life Safety tasks via the TELS platform.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Basic training/ knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVACR systems required.
• Prior supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Repairs electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems.
• Provides overall supervision of the maintenance department; including orientation for new staff.
• Maintains fire alarm and emergency generator systems to minimize the potential for fire and accidents.
• Maintains required records and reports; performs budget planning.
• Remains on-call for emergencies seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.
• Operates on the TELS platform for Life Safety, regulatory and daily tasks.
