Mesquite Village Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director. The role leads the maintenance department, focusing on life safety inspections, HVAC systems, and routine upkeep to ensure a safe, sanitary, and compliant facility.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a commercial setting, familiarity with laundry/housekeeping/maintenance, and preferably 2+ years in long-term care environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work across the center, managing budgets and interdepartmental coordination.
• Executes the preventive maintenance program and keeps records to maintain high physical function.
• Develops center profile and plant history with complete maintenance documentation and parts records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with regulations and codes.
• Collaborates with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff on environmental service requests and infection prevention.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment in good order and reports serious issues to the Administrator.
