Trinidad Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well‑maintained environment for residents and staff.

This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems, coordinating repairs, and maintaining compliance with life-safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations in a healthcare facility.
• Maintain and repair building systems to support resident care.
• Ensure compliance with life-safety and regulatory standards.
• Prioritize multiple projects and coordinate emergency maintenance as needed.
• Lead and develop maintenance staff to deliver reliable service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the facility.
• Maintain and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability.
• Coordinate repairs and projects while ensuring safety for residents and staff.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, including life-safety standards.
