Casa Maria Healthcare is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director with a strong background in life safety inspections, HVAC and routine maintenance to supervise the maintenance department and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The role includes ensuring sanitary, attractive conditions, and high-quality laundry service across the center.

The ideal candidate will manage environmental services, coordinate with nurses and management, and maintain preventive maintenance

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervises all Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas throughout center to enhance service levels while controlling expenses and resolving interdepartmental issues.
• Executes preventive maintenance program and record keeping to maintain optimal physical function of the center.
• Maintains complete documentation of maintenance activities and records of replacement parts and materials used; keeps fuel supply records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair work in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Collaborates with residents, nurses, physicians, department leaders and staff on environmental services requests and infection prevention; provides timely follow-up and communicates best practices to management.
• Maintains electrical and mechanical equipment in good order and reports serious failures to the Administrator.
