Job summary

Ivy Creek Wellness & Rehabilitation in Texas seeks an experienced Maintenance Director to lead life safety inspections, HVAC systems, and routine maintenance across the center. You will supervise the maintenance department and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes while keeping the facility sanitary, safe, and well equipped.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services personnel and daily work in assigned areas to optimize service levels while controlling budgets and resolving interdepartmental issues.
• Executes the preventive maintenance program and record-keeping systems to keep the center in optimal physical condition.
• Maintains complete documentation of maintenance activities including replacement parts and fuel supply records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
• Coordinates with residents, nurses, physicians, and staff on environmental services requests and infection prevention, providing timely follow-up.
