Energy Jobline ZR seeks a Maintenance Director for a health care facility in Xenia, OH. The role directs the maintenance department, ensuring safety standards and regulatory compliance with a focus on facility upkeep.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff training, and managing preventive and corrective maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry systems. A solid supervisory background in maintenance is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three years’ supervisory experience in a maintenance/plant role.
• Licensed in accordance with applicable standards, codes and labor laws.
• Experience as Maintenance Director in a Skilled Nursing or Long Term Care facility.
• Working understanding of electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

Aufgaben

• Directs the day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department and its programs.
• Ensure Life Safety Code compliance with applicable federal, state and local regs.
• Review and revise department policies, procedures, and job descriptions annually.
• Prepare operating and staffing budgets and monitor monthly.
• Train staff on safety policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
• Plan and supervise preventive and unplanned maintenance (painting, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical).
• Develop preventive maintenance tasks and document procedures for facility systems and equipment.
• Schedule work hours, vacations, and assignments to expedite tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
